Also your hunble poster had a Bravo Foxtrot last night and negleted to post the link to the Freeper Foxhole that featured a walk around of the B-24. So here it is folks if you need to look at some more pics of the Liberator
Well now that that has been taken care of on with the Sortie.
The obligatory head on pic, to bad this is on the ramp.
A wonderfull inflight shot of the Collins Foundations B-24 painted as the All American.
Here is a pic of the CAF's B-24 Diamond Lil. This is actually an LB-30 IIRC that has been reworked to a B-24D type sort of. The Lil is the oldest B-24 in existence being the 25th B-24 built out of over 18,000.
Next up is the Collins B-24 only it has been repainted to honor the 8th Air Force in WW-II. Painted up as Witchcraft a B-24 of the 456th BG. Witchcraft completed 130 missions.
Now for the really cool pic. Here is the All American making a low level pass for the crowd.
And with tears in our eyes, not to metion the fact that I am wore out tonight, here is the last pic.
Well I've decided to get in one more pic. here is a shot of the Collins Foundation's B-24 done up ae The Dragon and His Tail. hubba hubba
