Anyhoo, hope to close in on finishing them this weekend. It's ruined too many days at it is. This whole process has gotten ridiculous. I made money in the real estate market, selling ahouse that is my inheritance, and then have to send waaaaaaaaaay too much money into the Feds to squander.
I hate watching Congress spend when I know how much of MY money they are playing with.

I haven't insulted anyone, and the topic is on the front page of every American newspaper in the country. You mistake dialog as argument and questions as insults.

What would be good is if these Congresscritters would all get together and agree on the policy--what we want out of our immigrants and the demands they put upon us -- and then formulate the American First policy that recognizes the unique value immigration has brought to the USA but also enforces borders, establishes English, enforces work (not public benefits), etc. BUt until you do that, you're going to have legislation put together by LAWYERS and INTERESTS and it will get worse, not better...That's a discouraging thought.
I think we all....including myself and Tony...need to step back and take a deep breath. The subjects he has discussed lately are very provocative, and he allows us to have a huge latitude on how we discuss them but we have all gotten very intense today...and it makes us all look and sound snarky with one another and with him. Thank God Tony talks to us and helps us understand where he is coming from, but he always explains himself on the show in an intelligent way and shouldn't need to be an umpire here on the thread. Let's just have some fun. Mkay?

Please last night, travis's best buddy on FR, wardaddy, was hoping for "my" meltdown, and it didn't happen, but travis's meltdown happened this morning.
