I am wondering if this is how Rome fell.
Not from an armed invasion but a massive flow of people looking for a 'better life' by taking it from the Romans.
There 'decadance' was looking for cheap labor. Although the Romans had slaves they also used labor for most constuction.
There had not been a lot of conquests towards the end and theat is where the slaves came from.
Not a day goes by without an illegal invaders committing a crime against US citizen and property.
But not to worry, the US Govt will make it all better, as soon as they decide what to do..
Let me guess, none of these illegal immigrants from Mexico have been taught in our schools that Mexicans took their Mexican land from the native Indians.

This is a good presentation of HOW we OUGHT to do things. I admit there is a problem but yet there is another deeper problem; the 'illegals" don't go back home (re. Mexicans). There is an acute need for the type of AGRICULTURAL work these people provide (witness the annual "invasion" of Canadians to help harvest the vast potato fields of Maine, but they go home when it's over)so while I want to "keep 'em out" I think we'll have to solve the overall problem too. MAYBE Bush is on the right track.
