What he really means is "Doing the jobs that Americans won't do at a really low wage so my Corporate cronies can make tens of millions instead of merely millions".

When discussing this issue, I've said on a number of occasions that the "cheap labor" aspect of illegal immigration isn't what is really driving the whole thing. I suspect that the primary impetus for allowing these people to flood into the country is that they represent new consumers, not just workers.

If you are running across the border today and there's a real good chance that you'll end up in a Wal-Mart aisle next month -- and perhaps in a Ford dealership five years from now -- then you may as well be a citizen as far as this country is concerned.
