I agree. That is an odd response. Especially when you consider the various tapes released during her days as a hostage in which she was described as "sobbing" and pleading for the release of women prisoners.

So why was she sobbing? Mental abuse?
I'm watching the reply of her glowing report of her captivity. Some news station ought to play these two tapes one after the other.

I saw part of this interview and it came over as she was defending her captors. Either this is a hoax or she was completly brainwashed. Whether the brainwashing occured before, during, or after her "captivity" is a question.
