I was thinking of that exact footage when I wrote the above post.

I'm watching the reply of her glowing report of her captivity. Some news station ought to play these two tapes one after the other.

She is either suffering from Stockholm syndrome or she is part of a hoax similar to what was pulled off by the three Japanese peace activists who were also "captured" and then released. There were various tapes made by their captors showing them in distress as well.

I wonder if she was aware of the death of her translator when she made this statement about how well her captors treated her. More needs to come out before I can form a judgment about her experience. Her statement is indeed odd.

It wouldn't surprise if FOX finds a way to do this. I've been watching FOX & Friends and the expressions on the faces of Steve and E.D. have been priceless.
