House Majority Leader John A. Boehner refused yesterday to rule out compromising with the Senate to expand the House border security bill to include a guest-worker program or provisions that opponents call "amnesty." "Let's wait and see what the Senate can produce," he told reporters yesterday when asked whether House Republicans would reject the Senate Judiciary Committee's proposal to allow the estimated 12 million illegal aliens now in the U.S. to seek citizenship after paying a fine.

Like Coop said, it's only us BushBots who are required to answer questions. The others can just throw flames. See how that works?
Don't forget "wetback!" [he adds helpfully]
And for anyone who says that it's "impossible" or "impractical" I would suggest that they look to Australia, which accomplished the same thing that we want our government to do-and that it is Constitutionally obligated to do-and is better for it.
I figure it's an easy question, what legislation did Bush sign giving "Amnesty"?
Did you forget your sarcasm tag? We have already rewarded the 12 million illegal aliens on our soil by allowing them to come here and remain here. Amnesty is a fait accompli for those reasons. It's wishful thinking to think otherwise.
We must enforce our immigration laws into the future, but we must accept responsibility for our past lack of enforcement.
They know the answer --- ever heard the phrase "the truth hurts?"
I don't believe it's proper protocol to address me when reporting me to myself. Please re-send, pinging Howlin and Onyx.
FYI, this thread degenerated, but it's not because of us.
If you want to see the source of detioration, then I suggest you turn to your good pal, Coop.
That's just nonsense. Utter, irrational, uneducated nonsense.
First of all, President Bush's increased border security has intercepted and then deported more than 6 million illegal alien trespassers.
Yet you are so uneducated or irrational that you label deporting 6 million illegal aliens as "worthless in practicality."
Bah.
Second, President Bush's increased border security is detecting even the most faint traces of radioactivity. Mexican tiles, Mexican potting soil, and bananas all hold enough radioactivity to trigger our new radiation detection systems that are airborn, buried in the ground, on the belts of our border agents, at every port, on the open seas, and are doubled up at every border crossing site.
Third, President Bush has convinced nations like Mexico to intercept transit illegals (i.e. people from South America who cross Mexico on their way to enter the U.S.).
Last year alone Mexico intercepted and deported South over 230,000 such illegals who were headed to the U.S.
Look, just because some loudmouth radio jock or know-nothing web page told you that President Bush has "done nothing" for border security doesn't make it true.
If you want to criticize him for not doing enough, fine.
Just don't claim that his increased border security amounts to nothing. The facts just won't back you up.
By the way, you once again did not ping me. I'm afraid you will now receive my first official banning as a newly promoted mod! (Not that you won't simply yet again come here under another screen name.)
Isn't Australia an island?
I'm just saying....
Absolutely.
I'm not sure how this works. Do we vote?
Maybe wing it? I vote suspend this one for 15 minutes.
Where's Howlin? Any vote would have to be 2 out of 3.
The SETI Union wants immigrants for new recruits.....se link to Fronpage article I posted above....#748 I think....
When thousands and thousands of new BP agents were legislated, he funded a pittance, a small fraction in the hundreds.
In the meantime, he's called patriots "vigilantes" whilst smooching up to the Fox and has invited more to come to "do the jobs Americans aren't willing to do".
Bush is flat out full of crap. He's interested more in a North American Union that American sovereignty, he just won't outright say it. That's the question he needs to be asked point blank so that he can weasle around it.
YES! You have it correct on all counts.
Stick around, I'll bet you'll be made a mod too!
