House Majority Leader John A. Boehner refused yesterday to rule out compromising with the Senate to expand the House border security bill to include a guest-worker program or provisions that opponents call "amnesty." "Let's wait and see what the Senate can produce," he told reporters yesterday when asked whether House Republicans would reject the Senate Judiciary Committee's proposal to allow the estimated 12 million illegal aliens now in the U.S. to seek citizenship after paying a fine.

Coop is acting extremely nasty today. Shall I get you a tissue?
See, here's what you and the other rocket scientists just don't seem to get. So I'll try typing really s-l-o-w-l-y this time.
I act as those I respond to act. If I go on a thread about polls, I discuss data, historical trends, predictions, what have you. If I go onto a thread with a title like this, I don my tinfoil hat, actually READ the accompanying article, and then proceed to mock the bunker brigade that I know will be or already has been swarming to the thread and hysterically exaggerating or even completely lying about said article.
So if you wade in here and criticize only my "nasty" behavior, you either haven't read the thread (and are making an ill-informed accusation) or you're a hypocrite.
I report, you decide.

I don't think there is any question about that.
To: samcgwire
The Conservatives and other America lovers are trying, and are being blocked by aforementioned Traitors and Criminal Illegals, to make it a felony, which it 100% should be. So its not a felony right now then, which means they're not criminals. By definition.
To: Howlin
We probably have.
You're a very repetitive person.

Most illegals I have talked to return to Mexico about every 18 months for various reasons. No, illegals generally don't go back for visits, as the risks of being caught and paying to reenter are too great.
"This is an ignorant but telling statement.
No, you are ignorant. I happen to know what I am talking about.
First of all you are saying that not one illegal goes back and forth across the border to visit their homes.
I did not say that! Making things up, and misquoting people is not a respectable thing to do and I advise you cease doing that.

You're a very repetitive person. It's not my fault you're so damn obtuse you can't retain a fact after you leave a thread.

I've been phoning all day long. The phone answerers must be getting tired. Along with the standard answers of "I'll pass this along to the Senator". I bet they're really passing comments along to the closest wastebasket.

Included in the purposed legislation is a "path to citizenship". It exonerates them of their crime of being here illegally in the first place. I am opposed to any such bill.
To: Howlin
Unlike some here, I don't get all riled up about being called a "BushBot." I'd rather be FOR something than AGAINST everything.Catchy slogan.
A BushBot is FOR:
President Bush----his words, his ideas, his smirk, his clothes
A BushBot is AGAINST:
A secure southern border
Fiscal responsibility
A less expansive government
The use of the veto pen, no matter how bad the legislation
America retaining its manufacturing base
Bushbots are against a lot of things.

And the RINO Quislings tell us that they will become model Americans, if we only appease them with 6 year guest worker amnesty citizenship.
Montebello High Scool, LA, March 27, 2006. That is the tall flagpole over the entire school.
Note the "Che" t-shirt on the masked terrorist wannabee. Che was in charge of Castro's firing squads. I wonder who that kid dreams of putting against the execution wall?

Do you agree with the President on this ever expanding Federal Government, out of control spending, continued Federal meddling in Public Schools and the current lack of enforcement and encouragement of illegal immigration?
I'm critical of the man to the point of Clintonian disgust because he just keeps piling it on and tries to tell me it's raining outside when he's pissing on my leg. (As per his remarks on immigration this week)

My memory is perfectly fine.
That's one of the reasons that I can recall how you and the Bucket Brigade embarrassed yourselves-in precisely the same manner-the last time that George W. Bush was in hot water with the overwhelming majority of the American public.

But, make no mistake, this guest-worker initiative is thousands... no... tens of millions times worse than even amnesty. I agree. I oppose any bill that offers any kind of guest-worker program.

No, but faced with the opposition and the liberals, the other side is unthinkable.
