House Majority Leader John A. Boehner refused yesterday to rule out compromising with the Senate to expand the House border security bill to include a guest-worker program or provisions that opponents call "amnesty." "Let's wait and see what the Senate can produce," he told reporters yesterday when asked whether House Republicans would reject the Senate Judiciary Committee's proposal to allow the estimated 12 million illegal aliens now in the U.S. to seek citizenship after paying a fine.

Yeah... I know. I guess I felt I needed to at least make an attempt.
They are a lot like cockroaches though. You try and get rid of them, but they keep coming back. I'd hate to see them turn FR into Joe's Apartment.

Dane, I can't understand the mentality of treason. What is it with you ? Greed ? Hatred of America ? Or are you a Mexican who wants reconquista ? Or are you actually stupid enough to believe that cheap labor serfs who need massive public services will vote conservative ? Sammy, I can more than understand your hillary like rhetoric above.

( anyone who believes hillary would do something to stop illegal immigration is believing gibberish)
To: Coop
Coop, why don't you just stop your insults, go along to some other thread or leave altogether, and allow some intelligent discussion to take place. You and about 5-6 others (unnamed, but they know who they are) spend all your time flinging childish insults rather than offering up any intelligent comments or discussion. Give it a rest please and leave for now!
To: Howlin
Never thought I'd see a thread get as ugly as the old drug legalization/decriminalization threads.
To: Old_Mil
Good rundown on the fraud of this administration. There's nothing conservative about it.

"Heh. I pushed the right button on "coop".The clown just dumped a bucket of vitriol on me. LOL!"Just made your whole day, eh? Pathetic.

I'll never understand this call to address the post to that of whom you might be speaking. Howlin (added her name for the sake of keeping her off my ass about the same thing) says the same thing. Does it make you feel good to know someone is talking about you?
Does it make you feel grown up somehow to respond in kind to those posts? Wouldn't it be better to take the high road occasionally and let those who are insulting stay in the mud by themselves? I believe it would raise the level of discourse on the board.
To each, his own. If you choose to talk about me, well imho, "ignorance is bliss". ;) If I see it, so be it. Know what, I'll probably ignore it anyways. If I do see it, well, I tell you what, I'm not going to go to bed crying about it tonight. ;)

They have more people that listen to America and not Mexico. They have to. They have to run for reelection every two years. The senate has the luxury of doing whatever it wants when an election is six years away. Four or five years is time for many to forget, two years is not enough time.
