House Majority Leader John A. Boehner refused yesterday to rule out compromising with the Senate to expand the House border security bill to include a guest-worker program or provisions that opponents call "amnesty." "Let's wait and see what the Senate can produce," he told reporters yesterday when asked whether House Republicans would reject the Senate Judiciary Committee's proposal to allow the estimated 12 million illegal aliens now in the U.S. to seek citizenship after paying a fine.

I have a peculiar type of memory, in that certain phrases posters use stick in my mind, as well as their style of writing.
I can identify lots of posters by their writing, even before I see who has posted.

Yeah, I think my profile has my sign-up date as Nov 98, but I don't know exactly why. I was here during the summer of '98 (disgust at the Impeached Rapist's flaunting of our laws led me here), prior to October's March for Justice. I remember being so excited to attend - only to realize my flight for Hawaii left about the time the rally kicked off. So I was quite bummed, but I waved to everyone out the window as my flight departed National Airport.
I lurked for almost 6 months before I got the courage to join.
