House Majority Leader John A. Boehner refused yesterday to rule out compromising with the Senate to expand the House border security bill to include a guest-worker program or provisions that opponents call "amnesty." "Let's wait and see what the Senate can produce," he told reporters yesterday when asked whether House Republicans would reject the Senate Judiciary Committee's proposal to allow the estimated 12 million illegal aliens now in the U.S. to seek citizenship after paying a fine.

Then all he needed to do was do nothing and say nothing.
Hurling silly labels with no basis in reality isn't particularly persuasive.
At least, that's what D**E tells me.
;-)
See, that?
Didn't invoke the name, hence the priority ping rule is invalid.
Heh, heh.
Oh, but how can I, what with me staggering from Shapka's and your witty repertoire?!? I mean, Mr. Punching-Bag? Bwahahaaa! Oh, stop it! My sides are splitting!!!
That's brilliant! Where do you come up with this stuff?!? Are you buds with Robin Williams?! :-D Oh, stop, please have mercy on me!
I saw earlier, you were in line for bread. Might have missed it, but facts aren't revelant. You have to get with the current mode of FR, Bush is a bad man, that's why you were in line for bread. BTW, my bread line was only 3 hours.
Yeah really those wages of $20 an hour to rebuild New Orleans are really pathetic.(eyes rolling)
" Farmers there have automated. As will American farmers, once they can no longer rely on illegals."
Some crops don't "automate" very well, most that do, have been.
If you have some ideas on how to do it, you should invest a few million into a farm and give it a try.
It's a pity, FR has turned into one of a 100,000 chat sites. God forbid these 'warriors' actually get out from behind their keyboards and actually do something. Oh, but wait! They sent an email(s).
It's the going wage, they need people to rebuild, but it seems the former American born residents of that city aren't interested.
That's the great thing about having operations in Mexico----all the cheap labor with none of the illegal!
I remember :-D (great pic, btw)
It's happening again here -- FR-style.
Yes, your juvenile reply is a sterling example.
Southack: "That's not true. "
"Actually Southack..........I don't mean to pile on you....but I believe Sas is correct...I've seen some figures here on FR that were kinda astonishing regarding the numbers of illegals strolling across our borders since 911. I'll try to dig up the post where I saw the figures..."
Sasafras made two points. I'm all for seeing your stats on his/her first point...but my point of disagreement was with his/her second point as shown above.
You are tenacious! No reply yet?
May I wait with you?
Hey just trying to get an example out there for everyone to see.
There's no disunity among those who believe that all illegals should be rounded up and deported.
Trouble is, nowhere near 80% think that's a realistic option. The 80% who think illegal immigration is a serious problem are all over the board on what do about it. It virtually ranges from "shoot on sight" to "make them citizens now."
There's your unity.
I don't know about "no such thing", but I know this. I lived in several European countries, courtesy of Uncle Sam, in my working days, that had guest worker programs. The offspring of those guest workers, who never left, are now home-grown terrorists and thugs, rioting and assaulting their "hosts" in the streets of those European countries.
Me bad. Yours was a sterling example.
That Jorge stuff persuades me everytime.
