What a double standard, but no surprise at all.

LOL! is this satire?

Waving AMERICAN flags there I hope.
And hopefully they were defiant and demanding.

The Chronicle should post a disclaimer this is a parody.. I wonder how fast the media will think this is a real article?

I was thinking the same thing, but I checked out the web site and it looked fairly legit.

I sure hope I wasn't taken!

:) At least, Americans would have been smart enough to show up with the right flag! (Yes, the Mexican flag in this case)- LOL

This is a parody article. However, the double standard in Mexico is jaw-droppingly profound. They treat Central American illegals with absolute brutality. I just wish the shyte flowed down from us in similar fashion.

How ironic. And, I am quite certain non-Gringos living in the United States do not see the irony of this.

I don't know that this is a parody. Their main link seems to be full of real news, so I don't know that it is not. That's why I didn't list it in Humor.

I'm still trying to cross reference the article to see if anyone else is running it.

As I said, it sure wouldn't surprise me.

That's what I was looking for.

Thanks.

I stand corrected, as it does look to be satire!

Sorry about that folks!! If you check my past postings, I don't usually fall for this.

I know it should be obvious, but you have to flag parodies and satire. I promise you that before it's over, someone won't get it and will think that this is a legitimate article. Especially after tomorrow, when the date won't be a dead giveaway to those who aren't cognitively endowed. Sad as it is to say, some people just aren't bright enough to tell the difference between parody/satire and the real thing.
