Rush is NOT a comedian, he started as a DJ and is still more of a DJ than a yuk yuk joke teller. I don't think there has ever been a comedian who could do three hours a day.
The left is always so serious. The ONLY thing thing that compares to Rush on the left is Jon Stewart, and he wouldn't go over well on radio since his 'mugging' seems to be a big part of his comedy (while, on the other hand, Rush's TV show was no where nearly as entertaining as his radio, IMHO).

Maybe she's just worn down with the effort for the new book, and didn't feel this audience was worth any effort? I have been to two of her appearances, granted each had a friendly and like-minded audience, and she kicked butt at both of them.

Appearing before libs is a no-win proposition. They are impervious to logic and facts. You may get one or two of them thinking and started on the road to enlightenment, but that's the best possible outcome.
