Most people in the United States think illegal immigration is a serious problem. A solid majority oppose making it easier for illegal immigrants to become legal workers or citizens.
Some findings in recent polling:
Some 59 percent say they oppose allowing illegal immigrants to apply for legal, temporary-worker status, an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll found.
More than six in 10, 62 percent, say they oppose making it easier for illegal immigrants to become citizens, according to a Quinnipiac University poll. Nine in 10 in that poll say they consider immigration to be a serious problem - with 57 percent of those polled saying very serious.
Three-fourths say the United States is not doing enough along its borders to keep illegal immigrants out, a Time Magazine poll found. The NBC-WSJ poll was taken in March, Quinnipiac in February and Time in January. The NBC-WSJ and Time polls surveyed about 1,000 adults and had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. The Quinnipiac poll of 1,892 registered voters had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
Hey, you're the 547th FReeper to make this claim.
And yet the RNC fundraising continues to break records. Go figure! :-D
Convict them as felons and throw them out. If they return without proper documentation execute them. The rest will learn to follow our laws real quick.
When I was young my father picked apples. The owner of the orchard complained that my dad wasn't picking nearly as many apples as the wetbacks were. My dad asked "did you happen to notice that they are also 'picking' the ones that drop on the ground?"
AMEN! Sign me, Furious!
Senator Cornyn will pick this to death by himself if needed...
*snicker*
Quit trying to give these "alhambristas" a false appearance of non-existant honesty and credibility, they are rapers of this nation and are destroying it's sovereignty along with the rabble(politicians "Democrats and Republicans") and their voting enablers)that support their goals of destruction and anarchy!
Ahh, wetbacks. What a lovely story.
On trains to Mexico, and busses or covered wagons.
I agree with your post so much, thank you.
Good idea, they get enough of our money because we do obey the law and pay taxes to support the turncoat traitor politicians in Washington.
The other way is to insist on any company, restaurant, hotel you go to ask that they prove the employees are legal or your leaving, same with companies that work on your property.
Maybe they're getting funded by "La Raza."
Life is like a box of chocolates.
[[The Republicans have lost my support. I am through with this party. Spineless idiots who IGNORE THEIR BASE! Including this President....continually ignoring his base]]
Every fax that goes out of my office to my elected officials contains the following PS at the bottom of the letter:
We will work tirelessly to defeat ANY elected official who votes against the best interest of the American worker, US border security, US sovereignty or that sponsors or supports any amnesty scheme disguised as a guest worker program.
I no longer support Bush or the cowardly republican party. They have caved to a bunch of open border activists and it will cost them dearly in the next election.
:-) I'll ping you to it.
The mods must **of** not have had their coffee yet.
ping me too, please.
;)
I agree, conservativecorner. All this person is doing is demeaning FRiends who have a different POV.
Knock it off, coop.
It hasn't worked all the other times :0)
Oh, sorry. They were humble people of color that come to destroy the United States when the citizens are too lazy to destroy it themselves.
Proper usage is "must not have read this" When I speak I might slur it and use "of" but I don't write this way
