It is not possible to get through to the Mayor by phone. The mailbox is full and there is no "attendant" to answer the phone. The city must get this insurrection under control or kids from other schools will try it and it will spread.

Where is the public demonstration against Mexico for not taking care of their LEGAL citizens? Why so much protest against America for trying to control people here illegally, trying to live and work for a decent life? How can anyone amass so many people advocating an illegal act and not even question why so many have to leave their own country in order to do so? Why are we listening?

Teachers and Administrators are ACCOMPANYING THEM???
There should be a petition tonight...asking for their firing..you don't hold the hands of students breaking the law!!!
Oh, but why not?? They have the socialist teacher's unions to protect them.

I'll say it again, imagine how much money we'd save the taxpayers if we could permanently return them to the nations where they are legal citizens!

I wonder how many really support the cause and how many just wanted a "get out of school" excuse?

Deport first, then let them apply for work cards/citizenship if that is what they want. That's what the vast majority of Americans want.
Will the illegals protest? Who cares? Society does not ask the criminal element what their punishment should be in violating the law.
As for these students - whatever. The teachers are protected by their union, the schools won't return the money they were paid today to teach them, and a suspension means nothing when most of these students don't care.

These protests wer not good timing at all. Very poor planning, too close to the Muslim riots in France.
Bad strategy.

What I want to know is why the LAUSD is able to give exact numbers how many kids are participating in this. If they are asked to document how many kids can't read, there's all sorts of hell to pay. How many are protesting against the government of the U.S.? Why just a moment, we'd be happy to provide that.
