I second that. Excerpted, but the article is short and pithy. This caught my eye because someone suggested that I was a racist here today, right here on FR, where free speech for conservative, pro-American causes is supposed to be of highest value.

No one likes being called a racist. This is what these people do. It's a way of disarming the opposition. In other words, they change the subject from illegal immigration to racism. Guess what? I bet it works on our weak-kneed politicians.
I don't know who called (suggeested?) you were racist, but I will say that last year that was the preferred tactic of individuals who tried very hard to get the anti-illegal-alien FReepers banned.
They were successful with several of us.

That's nice, now we need our sellout politicians to have INS and/or our military REMOVE the ILLEGAL aliens from our country. I see no need to pay for transportation, have them WALK HOME right back across the border into Mexico. If we do need to provide transportation then send the bill to the Mexican government. They ruined their own country (or have done nothing to improve it) and they've come to our country because their country is so screwed up? If the ILLEGAL aliens want in so bad then they can apply for citizenship like everyone else or they can go back home.
When we have 500000 mostly illegals in one place why have we not dropped in an airborne regiment and brought infantry to seal off the area and do a mass deportation. Just pipeline them all to the nearest border crossing and allow back in those who present proper papers to re-enter. It could be done. It would be effective. It would give Senor Fox a headache and he might finally reach for some proper Mexìcan-made aspirin.
I believe Americans should run their own national security. I don't believe any foreign companies should be running port operations, or doing customs work searching bags or ships for us.
I believe illegal immigrants shouldn't be protesting in the streets of Los Angeles and Phoenix. They shouldn't be flying Mexican flags and cheering Atzlan on American soil long. The National Guard should be called out, and the illegals should be surrounded and deported.
I believe Americans should be judged on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Affirmative action is unConstitutional.

Under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act of 1985 (EMTALA), any patient requesting emergency care must be screened and treated until stabilized for discharge or transfer, whether or not insured or “documented” (i.e., legally present in the United States). For example, a woman in labor must remain to deliver her child. Babies born to illegal aliens are called “Anchor Babies” for once they are born, like anchors dropped to keep boats safely in harbor, they pull their illegal alien parents and siblings into lucrative residency. The babies instantly qualify as citizens for welfare benefits, resulting in skyrocketing Medicaid costs and stipends under Supplemental Security Income and Disability Income. Cities such as Los Angeles with large illegal alien populations, high crime, and powerful immigrant gangs are losing their hospitals to the ravages of unreimbursed care under EMTALA. In Los Angeles, 95% of outstanding homicide warrants are for illegal aliens, likewise for 66% of fugitive felony warrants.

Sixty percent of the county's uninsured patients are not U.S. citizens, and more than half are here illegally. With about 2 million undocumented aliens in Los Angeles County alone, patients in the County’s overcrowded emergency rooms can wait days for a hospital bed for necessary surgeries. In 2004, Los Angeles County spent $340 million to treat the uninsured – roughly $1,000 for every taxpayer – while illegal immigrants receive medical treatment for free.

Couldn't we stop the amnesty juggernaut if we figured out how to expose how racist MEXICO's own immigration laws are, maybe through a massive letters to the editor campaign and calls to talk show hosts and our politicians?
"ICE" could have had a field day with the L.A. rally! They would have needed 10,000+ buses running to Mexico and back!
