Senator Byrd's wife dies

Per WVAH Fox11 news, Senator Byrd's wife Erma passed away this morning after a long illness.

I'm sure he's broken hearted. I recall he was almost done in by the death of their son, Robert.

Regardless his political leanings, I echo the (general) sentiments of the other posters..

Condolences to the Senator and his family..
I am sure the loss must be deeply felt by all..

Proud of freepers response. Though most here dislike Mr. Byrd, they show class by not using this time to attack him.
