Campaign (Now) Says (Katherine) Harris Won't Turn To Inheritance.

In an effort to jump-start her sputtering Senate campaign, Rep. Katherine Harris went on national television invoking the memory of her late father and saying the money he left her will form the financial foundation of her challenge to Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson.
Now the Harris campaign says that's not the case.
Campaign spokeswoman Morgan Dobbs said Thursday that Harris will sell her existing assets rather than rely on money from her father, a bank executive who died in January.
The Republican from Longboat Key appeared on national television saying she would use the money left to her by her father to infuse her campaign with a badly needed shot of financing.
The announcement was the centerpiece of her appearance on Fox News, where Harris reaffirmed her commitment to the race.
"I'm going to take his legacy that he gave to me, everything I have, and I'm going to put it in this race," she told Sean Hannity. "I'm going to commit my legacy from my father -- $10 million."
A moment later, Hannity asked, "This is money from your father?"
"Yes," replied Harris.

The media is fabricating chaos re: KH because they can't say anything positive about Bill Nelson. Nelson is more liberal than Teddy Kennedy. You won't see that in the media.

Every time Katrine Harris comes up here on FR, you can make sure that anti-KH "fifth column" comes out in full force edifying nelson instead of K.H.!
It seems like nelson-moles are planted here and they sounds or acts like the President stalker cindy sheeeeehan, or the so called "peacemakers" just rescued in Iraq!!
Now if you all are true Conservatives, why not help us and join the campaign to get her elected instead trying to tear her down?
From another anti-KH spamming last week i posted the following:
"pity the weak souls who know not victory nor defeat"
- - Teddy Rosevelt
As of this posting there is a total of 182! So let say many of them are double posted leaving about 100 different posts!!
I counted at least 23, and you know very well WHO you are, constantly spamming your negative posts about Kathrine Harris; Hmmmmm???
1/4 of so called "conservative" and most of them out of State, not eligible to vote here, will be posting negative thoughts about OUR candidates.
Question is: What is your real motivation for that?
When I see that kind of "slander" I start wonder if I'm in the right forum, (or have I ended up on DU?), where I prefer edification over sending negative messages to the "drive-by" LSM's propaganda AGAINST Ms. Harris.
Wouldn't it be much more productive to spend your energy to take on Senator McLame who now is trying to silent you and me here on Jim R's forum by his un-Constitutional campaign "reform"1??!
However, IF you are real Conservatives, there is something positive you could help us, why not JOIN us instead, hugh???
:..............
Dear supporters,
On Wednesday night, Congresswoman Katherine Harris made an important announcement. She announced on National television that she is fully committed to winning the U.S. Senate seat in Florida this November.
"There is so much at stake for our country and our state," Katherine said last night. "I'm in this race and I'm going to win it."
As you may know, our campaign has come under fire recently. But this has not stopped us for a moment. Katherine Harris has fought for Floridians at the state and federal levels of government for many years with an outstanding record of accomplishments. It will be no different in the U.S. Senate.
I will get right to the point. Our campaign needs your support right now. We need to show the Democrats and Bill Nelson that our campaign is powerful and we have what it takes to win. Right now, the Nelson campaign is terrified because Katherine committed $10 million to win this race and Nelson no longer has a financial advantage. She is confident in her fight for U.S. Senate and as she stated last night, "I am willing to put everything on the line."
Please help our campaign today and make a financial contribution by going to this link. We need your help to maintain our momentum and your donation of $25, $50 or even $100 will make the difference. The first quarter filing deadline is rapidly approaching at the end of March, so your contribution today is vital. We are all dedicated to helping Katherine become the next U.S. Senator so please join our campaign team today.
Sincerely,
Jamie Miller
Campaign Manager

Keep up the great Bill Nelson campaign, and tell us more about how impressed you are with his campaign prowess, Hebrew prayers, and his lovely wife while you simultaneously ridicule Harris.
Thank you Nurse!!!
Has he as a WRONG tagline???
Seems that the "Bender" is not possible!??!

Sad to say but Kathleen Harris is prime kook material. A radio host down (Todd Schnitt) here (Florida) laid it all out and I know longer support her. He laid out how gawd awful she looks on TV and how flaky she is. It was cruel how he hard he lit into her but it rang true.
Schnitt-boy, wow, says it all!
Yeah, todd is a real authority!??!
Nothing but a self serving half-kook fishing for air-ratings!!!

Yes we are. They are the FReepers who joined a month or two ago who are promoting KH as hard as they can, so Nelson can run against the candidate he knows would be easiest to beat!

Please tell me something Marc, what has she done right recently?
Prevented alGore to sit in the W.H. today, possible, and that is enough for most of us!
If you have the HALF of her "balls," I would salute you!!
I don't believe for one second that you are sending money to her campaign, prove it.
Your page says: Friend of Bill W., shouldn't it had said Friend of Bill N???

Just when you think it can't get any worse, something like this happens. She is starting to remind me of Jayne Mansfield at the end of her career.
I can only hope that after the campaign, Katherine Harris puts this behind her and finds peace and contentment in private life.

I don't love Catherine dearly - there's nothing to love. She has convinced herself that this is the right thing to do, and can't be talked out of it. Her supporters see her candidacy (and victory) as poking the eye of the liberal jackals in the media in government.
They have created a vision in their mind where Harris wins the Senate seat and they victory dance the night away. It isn't happening: those with clarity have recognized Harris as the poor and deficient candidate that she is.
Florida GOPers who supported her lunacy should be thanked for keeping that one Dem senate seat safe for the other side. But they can sleep at night, they tell me.

The anti-Harris bandwagon has been a nice place to be for quite a while. I am glad many on FR are catching on.

What I meant was the self-immolation that her campaign has become reminds me of how Jayne Mansfield's life was falling apart before her untimely death.
To: JulieRNR21
If Mel Martinez managed to squeak by Castor to win a Senate seat......so can Harris. If you think the situation is similar, you don't understand campaigns AT ALL. They are as different as night and day.
To: Torie
There are apparently two little lockboxes. Daddy's ten million, and her own ten million. It is not clear whether this is a switch in lock boxes, and Harris just got confused which box to open, or there is only one box, and it's shut, or two boxes, and there are both shut. If this indeed did confuse her, what makes her think she will be a good Senator? She is a lightweight who should be happy to be in the House. She should enjoy it, and not try to rise one level above her competency.

While I admit she looks hot in a 'your mom's slightly younger friend with big knockers' kind of way, but we shouldn't lower the general, dominant threshold for 'hot' for her.

The campaign of Mel Martinez was uninspired, but even its worst days were nothing like this.
