"U.S. War Plan Leaked to Iraqis by Russian Ambassador" Documents dated March 5-8, 2003
Two Iraqi documents dated in March 2003 on the eve of the U.S.-led invasion and addressed to the secretary of Saddam Hussein, describe details of a U.S. plan for war. According to the documents, the plan was disclosed to the Iraqis by the Russian ambassador.
The first document (CMPC-2003-001950) is a handwritten account of a meeting with the Russian ambassador that details his description of the composition, size, location and type of U.S. military forces arrayed in the Gulf and Jordan. The document includes the exact numbers of tanks, armored vehicles, different types of aircraft, missiles, helicopters, aircraft carriers, and other forces, and also includes their exact locations. The ambassador also described the positions of two Special Forces units.
Editor's Note: The Russian ambassador in March 2003 was Vladimir Teterenko. Teterenko appears in documents released by the Volker Commission, which investigated the Oil for Food scandal, as receiving allocations of 3 million barrels of oil worth roughly $1.5 million. )

That the story made it at ABC is a mind-bender all its own.
just the begining of the story from the documents. it will stay under the radar as long as the MSM can hush it up, but then break big. IMHO
For all the good it did, he might just as well have saved his money and saved himself the trouble.
Good strategery = Bringing out the docs. in an election year.
WHOEVER WITHIN THE US GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING THIS INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP ON CHARGES!
I love this drip drip of these documents. They will keep coming for years!
Dont let it upset your world view.
I am sure ABC still will hold that there were no WMDs and that WMDs were Bushs only reason for invasion and that Bush lied.
Um...well, it was the President - watching out for his friend Pooty-Poot. That's why he took the "No WMD" bullet.
Maybe this document release happened because Russia's meddling in Iran has finally given him a reason to change his mind.
Good thing I decided long ago to still not trust the Russians.
The 9/11 Commission's adamantine refusal to recognize the relationship between Saddam & al Qaeda is likely to be thoroughly discredited, and the three year campaign of the democrats and the MSM and the Richard Clarkes of the world that there was no relationship will likewise be discredited. The left is suffering grievous reverses even as they chortle with glee over Bush's poll numbers.

Yeah, AFTER Bush is gone and Hildabeast is in. It's one of those urban legend thingy's. Say it enough and it becomes the truth.
One example is "Bush stole the election". There hasn't been even one recount that showed Gore won,.....not ONE! How can they keep repeating "Bush lost" if he never had a recount that showed he did? Even the newspapers that counted the votes a year later agreed that he won every time no matter the chads or whatever. There was at least 5 re-counts
We will find out when the next prez is in that Saddam was hiding his nuke stuff and sent his chemicals an biologics to Syria. But Bush will still be thought of as wrong for the war. The point of the war was he was in violation of the UN and his cease fire agreement, and the WMD's don't matter. We danced around the SOB for 12 years. It was time to finish it.
If that's the case, then I'm with Feingold.
"That the story made it at ABC is a mind-bender all its own."
I know. It's bizarre. Did they see the writing on the wall with the documents now? or did some conservative guy just not get the boot yet?
Wouldn't be surprised to find this was part of a dis-information campaign on our part.
Thanks for the pings eyespy,I'm loving it!
Hey sonofjoe, have you seen this one?
Do we finally get to go to war with Russia?
You can't be serious.
