My letter to the National Republican Congressional Committee. I copied my Congressional Delegation.

Dear National Republican Congressional Committee;

We, husband and wife, are both Republicans.

We have not voted for a Democrat for almost 20 years.

BUT we are OUTRAGED at Sen. McCain's attempt to SILENCE us by extending the BLATANTLY unconstituional McCain-Feingold "Campaign Finance Reform" Act to apply to the free exchange of ideas on the internet.

While pornography remains "protected speech", incredibly, political speech is now being curtailed! I submit that if you were to tell the Constitutional Framers that the First Amendment was designed to protect pornographers and not to protect free speech, some of them would have challenged you to a duel!

What part of "Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech" do you not understand? In case you don't remember, or don't even know, that's from the very plainly worded, and very easy to understand, First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States!

We remember that the "Supreme" Court ruled that McCain-Feinburg was "Constitutional." The "Supreme" Court has been wrong before, most infamously with Dread-Scott and Roe-Wade, but their torturing of the U.S. Constitution CANNOT be justified. Besides, they are NOT "Supreme" over the Executive or Legislative branches. They are only the final appeals court at the Federal level and are chartered, by the same U.S. Constitution, only to RULE on Case Law, NOT to MAKE Law!

We remember that it was Republican George Bush who signed this piece of trash legislation, McCain-Feingold, into law.

We voted for George Bush. We are EXTREMELY disappointed in his lack of understanding of fundamental Constitutional principles; principles for the defense of which hundreds of thousands of brave Americans have died.

We will NOT give one PENNY to the Republicans, and we will shift our allegiance to the Constitution Party if we do not see Sen. McCain "taken to the woodshed" on this issue by the Republican Party and his colleagues in the Senate.

Indeed, the Constitution Party doesn't have a chance of electing anyone to Dog Catcher, but at least we can vote for them with a clear conscience, knowing that they at least understand what the PLAIN LANGUAGE of the U.S. Constitution says.

Everyone that says you have to vote for McCain if he's the nominee, can kiss my backside. I will make damned sure if he is the nominee to not only NOT vote for him, I WILL ACTIVELY WORK AGAINST HIM. If a majority of Repubs vote for this, and the POTUS signs it, then they are proving what the socialists always say, "They are taking our rights away."

Why be out here defending them when they are going to turn around and pull the rug out from under you?
