STONY BROOK, N.Y. AP) _ Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's speech on women and equal pay was interrupted twice Thursday by anti-war protesters at a Long Island university.
The 26 protesters _ in an audience of about 300 _ shouted out "Stop the war" and "Troops out now" as the Democratic senator from New York spoke at Stony Brook University. They said Clinton supported President Bush and the war in Iraq.
Clinton did not respond to the shouts, but university President Shirley Strum Kenny stood up and told the demonstrators that everyone has the right to listen to the senator and they shouldn't interrupt.

What goes around comes around.
I wonder how much the Hillary! 2008 campaign is paying these protestors to help her triangulate.
They talk the talk but will they not vote her in '08?
Whom do you root for? This is like the Iran-Iraq War - you just hope it keeps going...
Doug, you wouldn't happen to be vacationing in NY right now, would you?
Now this needs more circulation. I'm forwarding to a number of non-freepers who'll be interested. MSM avoids at all costs to print anything negative of Her Ugliness.
Wow, thats telling them. I heard my son's first grade teacher tell her class the same thing just a few weeks ago.
LOL! Excellent comparison.
You root for both sides and have plenty of popcorn ready.
They had best watch their steps.
People like that have been known to disappear.
To all the old timers out there, does this remind you of 1968?
The RATS going to rip themselves apart again?
Hillary = Hubert Humphrey, Feingold = Eugene McCarthy?
rattle snakes eat their own!!! the loony left is no better.
ROFL, priceless.
studentcide?
The crucial point here is that on a NYS University (SUNY) campus where over 22,000 attend there were only 300 (0.013%) who cared enough to even see the beast.
These protestors are probably planted by Ann Lewis & Co....just to keep her name in the news all the time.
These protestors giving a darling liberal puke such a hard time is the equivilant of Freepers shouting down John McCain...heh, heh.. ;^)
If you are at all worried about the primary challenges for the Republican party in 2008 you need not be concerned.
The D's are going to rip themselves to absolute shreds. You're going to see infighting and blood splatter that hasn't existed since 68. I'm hoping, beyond all hopes, for a broken convention where delegates are actaully left fighting one another in hopes for a consensus nominee.
To think I'd pay the equivilent of a full season of NFL Sunday Ticket to see a broken convention and the media would give it to us for free.
