I agree. That is what they are for, to get other drivers off the roads. The baby wasn't going to take up any space in the normal lanes.

I agree, what's the point of giving the advantage of carpooling if the other person you are 'sharing a ride' with is under the age to even drive???

Why, I used to drive a co-worker into Boston, the guy was legally blind and can't ever get a license.
We drove in the HOV every day and if you think I shouldn't of had that right then to hell with you.

Agreed. Mom with kids in the car is not carpooling.
I hate the concept. It's most dangerous when traffic ~is~ heavy and cars are whipping by at 55... past slow and stopped traffic.

I think there should be a 3 or 4-person minimum for HOV lanes. They work well when used properly, but can be abused easily.
