LONDON — Has anyone ever actually seen a rainbow-colored sheep? That's surely what a few British toddlers are asking. Teachers at nursery schools in Oxfordshire, England, have asked children to change the words of the song "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep" to "Baa, baa, rainbow sheep" in what some say is an attempt to avoid offending anyone.

In the rainbow night, I left my apartment. I needed a cup of coffee in order to get my head straight -- her words still stung me, and I needed to think them over.

Before I read the article, I scanned it to see the pictures and could not believe there were none!

And the kids go to a farm on a field trip, and ask to see the pretty rainbow sheep. Told that there are only white or black, they ask why they didn't learn about the black ones. Then they have to be told that in an effort to avoid racism, all references to black things had to be eliminated. When they ask how that isn't racism, the teachers' heads explode.
