A burglar sneaked into a house one night.

He was startled by the sound of a parrot: "Jesus is watching you!"

The burglar looked about himself in the darkness, and saw nothing.

The parrot repeated: "Jesus is watching you!"

The burglar scanned the scene in vain expectation of some divine apparition.

Then he heard a panting noise, and the parrot exclaimed: "Jesus is the family Rottweiler!"

but that doesn't give you the right to give somebody else's home for that purpose.

Did I say that? Hillary brought Christianity into this discussion above. I am merely posting what the bible says and asking questions based on it. If the scripture makes you as uncomfortable as it does me then maybe it actually has something to say about this issue.

This woman clearly has a mental disorder, as if we did not already know! Her statement also continues to show that the Democrats have no class; they are so accustomed to breaking the law to achieve their aims, they have lost all sense of propriety and balance. What a bunch!

Bring out your unstated assumptions, please

I don't bring assumptions to scripture when I am trying to understand it. I let is speak for itself, pray for understanding and look to other Christians for biblical based input.

Why, that's how you've been talking all along. Don't be getting cute and trying to deny it.

How exactly does the parable of the Good Samaritan relate to folks illegally crossing our southern border?

Besides, the Mexican Government sure isn't paying the room and board for these folks in silver or any other medium.

Nice try, but no cigar.

The United States does have laws prohibiting illegal entry, and that is the difference, almost.

Are these laws biblically justifiable for how we treat those who are here among us?

Well grok this: I don't have a God given dominion over America to hand it over to illegal aliens, and neither do you. Disobedience of this principle is resisting the revealed will of God. Nothing is stopping you from going to Mexico and being as generous as you wish, or from sending your money to Mexico if that's how you want to do it.

The msm may think Hellery is the smartest woman in the world, but insulting millions of voters and making them angry enough to turn out to vote for Republicans this fall doesn't sound too intelligent to me. Mehlmann must have a big smile on his face when he reads articles such as this one.

If in some never-never hypothetical scenario it were impossible to help Mexicans in any other way, it would be abrogated. But not unless.

but note that nowhere is the term ILLEGAL found as a modifier of same, which is what the issue is all about.

There are two separate issues. The alien himself who broke our law and us who made the law. Is our law supportable by the bible and teachings of Jesus?

You can't "repent" on behalf of the fellow Americans who chose to implement the law, by sneaking and breaking it.

This has to be a voluntary act on the part of a single soul.

If it is against the law to do the voluntary act of kindness, then it is no longer voluntary and the bible puts the Christian at odds with the law.
