Wrong again!!!
You have no right what so ever to be plastered/drunk in public. Not in a moving car, behind the wheel, walking in the park, or down the street on your anchored boat, sitting on a bench, or any other location; period.
What you do in your own home booze wise is up to you if you are an adult.
In truth, your attitude is one of the reasons that there are 10s of thousands of people killed by boozed up drivers in this country every year.

Personally, I think being stupid in public ought to be a felony.

All your rights as an American are hereby revoked. Please move to communist china where you belong chained to a wall in a dungeon filled with other cockroaches like yourself...at least you will be safe from the rest of us.

They are responsible for themselves.

You're absolutely right about drinking and driving.
I see `social drinkers' all the time in court, crying like babies before a judge because they knocked back "just a couple beers" then climbed behind the wheel of a car.
Good to see another adult.

YES we do have the right...(option may be a better word) (although I would consider this right to be a form of bad judgement)
What people do ANYWHERE is strictly up to THEM...whether it be in their own home or out in public.
Stupid is as stupid does

you're over the top......going along with your theory, do you think cops should be able to come to YOUR house and arrest YOUR company if they are having a few brews?....
afterall, YOUR home is not their home......

You have no right what so ever to be plastered/drunk in public. A bar or hotel is not "public" -- unless the government owns it.

What you do in your own home booze wise is up to you if you are an adult. Now, hold on one second! What about people who have children in their home? Their children might see them drunk, which is certainly a bad example, and at any moment that child might slip and fall or something and need a ride to the ER.
Nope, no drinking at home either!
