Anyone here spend time in Japan?
I lived there for the summer between high school and college (92) as part of a youth leadership program. I didn't learn much Japanese other than a few survival phrases and, funny enough, commercials.. as for reading Japanese, not a bit.. We had 'mentors' that helped us by writing down instructions for cabs in Japanese and directed us to places that catered to English speakers. I was surprised in that one can actually survive in Tokyo only speaking English. One trick is doormen and concierges at hotels usually speak English are are always happy to help, even if you aren't staying at their hotel.

As the number of democrats in the polls sample size increase, so does the oppposition.

The media has always hated this country, at least in my memory.
For some reason the media elites think they will be in charge if this country is taken over by a foreign fascist government.
Just about all the media wanted the Soviet Union to overcome America.
I remember Madame Halfbright saying she was concerned that America was the only super power.
