I would rely on his stats as much as I would rely on

Instead they are self reliant informed citizens who are beholden to no one for their life's successes. They also do not blame others for their life's failures. In short they GROW UP. When I was growing up I was annoyed by kids who refused to follow the rules.
I figured there was some purpose for the rules even if I didn't get it and I followed them, perhaps fearing the hand of discipline that might come from choosing to ignore them.
If this study implies that kids who are well behaved tend to grow up right thinking conservatives, then I'm not offended.
If this study is 20 years old, let's check again in twenty more years. They may see that Liberals are just slow learners

Go check and follow up on those that went through the S.F. education system and find out where they wound up.
Then do the same testing from those that graduated in fly over country, then compare.
But that accd. to San Fran graduates is not fair since fly overs had cleaner air or precisely:
A "pure and clean" surrounding atmosphere thus affording them a head start and thereby accounting for their comparative personal progress.

- won't put a condom on his/her banana
- won't play with a doll if male or with trucks if female
- won't dress and pray as a Muslim or Buddhist

One of the most whiny, insecure, "why doesn't everything work according to my needs" type of person I know is a liberal. The most confident, cocky, intelligent, yet crazy people I know are conservatives. These are just people I have kept in touch with since college.

I would think the more important bogus conclusion from this bogus study is that one's path in life is largely pre-determined.

If I'm a whiny, insecure nursery school kid then I'm damned to be a "rigid young adult" and whatever the opposite of " bright, non-conforming adults with wide interests" would be.

Could it be that the ones who were not whining learned that their crackhead mother was too busy sleeping off a high to hear them so they learned that whining didn't work until they could jack an innocent bystander and then learned to cry that it was police brutality when they were beat to a pulp by a sheriff because the perp killed his partner and the perp's pregnant girlfriend?

Where as the whiny kid learned that he is loved and grew to be confident because he knew that he could take risks because he was still valuable.
