Today was a busy day for President Bush. This morning he gave a press conference at the White House and answered reporters' questions with fire and passion (including a priceless exchange with Helen Thomas). He then welcomed Liberia's President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to the Oval Office at the White House, and accompanied her to a social luncheon in her honor, where they enjoyed entertainment by the dance group, Moving in the Spirit, and vocal star, Denyce Graves. Later he met with Iraq and Afghanistan non-governmental organizations (with First Lady Laura in attendance as well).
Lots and lots of expressive pictures of our feisty President today, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!

That tape of Prince Gregory and Laura was fabulous .. thanks for posting.
He looked so young, fresh and was so jolly. Breaks my heart to see how he has grayed and the wrinkles on his face. I had forgotten he even looked like that. LOL If I had to fight the weirdos, be persecuted, trashed and lied about every day of my life, I would probably look a lot grayer than him. With that said though, I'm kinda like him in a way, I don't let things worry me. Life's much too short. I just think of people like that as very small in mind and stature. They have to be very unhappy people. I actually pity them sometimes, because carrying around all that hate has to make them miserable.
Hail to the Chief! He is brave and stands up to the low life press. "Hellen.... Hellen.... Wait..... Hellen..."
LOL!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the ping to that rewarding read.
For the record this is what CSPAN has on this morning:
08:30 AM EST
0:45 (est.) LIVE
Call-In
Presidential Impeachment
C-SPAN, Washington Journal
Lewis H. Lapham , Harper's Magazine
*****
Do we detect a hint of an agenda at CSPAN? All day yesterday they were showing something about Presidents and Vietnam. I call it clear antiBush partisanship.
"Hellen.... Hellen.... Wait..... Hellen..."

Did you get the feeling that he is good at training dogs? Consistent, calm, and determined to teach proper behavior.
