Today was a busy day for President Bush. This morning he gave a press conference at the White House and answered reporters' questions with fire and passion (including a priceless exchange with Helen Thomas). He then welcomed Liberia's President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to the Oval Office at the White House, and accompanied her to a social luncheon in her honor, where they enjoyed entertainment by the dance group, Moving in the Spirit, and vocal star, Denyce Graves. Later he met with Iraq and Afghanistan non-governmental organizations (with First Lady Laura in attendance as well).
Lots and lots of expressive pictures of our feisty President today, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!
Hi Ohio, I saw part of the exchange with Helen Troll on Brit. He was really very good today. He should do more of these pressers. HE is his own best spokesman.
Thanks for posting.
Great presser...but you should hear the VITRIOL on Hairball tonight about it---these people MUST be on a different planet from us..I can't figure out where they come up with the BS they spew!
I hate to face that crowd shown in #19!
What did they say?....were they upset the Dubya got the better of that old hag?

Thank you for the quotes from the President's press conference. You can't find this stuff on MSM, or even PBS' longer coverage. The only place I've heard the classic interchange with Helen Thomas is on conservative radio talk shows.
And last, but certainly NOT least, dear Barney in the White House tulips! Not just any tulips.......but LAURA BUSH tulips! :)
First, mystery! Nicely done!
Love the Barney pic with the tulips...
Doing a VERY SPECIAL 2000th DAY PRAY FOR PRESIDENT BUSH thread, and a MEGA Dose like this tires a person out!!
Interesting pictures tonightOWF. Thank you . The pictures of the President appear that he was speaking quite forcefully. Never seen him look so intense before.
That's an acronym I don't think I know..........mind translating? :)
Top Ten indeed, onyx! Excellent!
LTNS = Long Time, No See ;)
