One good thing: I connected via the cellphone this afternoon (checking that it still worked, because it didn't at Dulles Airport yesterday), and the reported connection rate was 230 kbps, instead of the 56 kbps it's always reported in the past. The connection is definitely faster. Now I just need to figure out how to connect to the cellphone from the Linux box so I can get the entire house network online...

Me too! I'm wondering what they did... I do recall something happening with the cellphone some days ago and thinking "maybe they upgraded the firmware" (T-Mobile does that quietly). But I like it. *\;-)
