I'm excited and it sounds like you are, too. We have gotten nearly an inch...which is very good for our deserty conditions. WOOHOO! Hope y'all get enough to satisfy the cotten and wheat farmers up there. They were praying HARD!
I am actually happy to see pools of water on the streets - this is a sign that the soil is getting saturated.
