>>NBC spokeswoman Barbara Levin confirmed Russert also received a subpoena. Libby told FBI agents and a federal grand jury that his information about Plame had come from Russert. But Russert has said they never discussed it.<<
Ohhh, Timmy-boy better hire an attorney. I hear the bent-one's available!

Tim Russert, N.Y. Times Subpoenaed In CIA Leak Case My cheap garden hose, after years in the mud outside in the nursery, rotted over the winter and is now leaking........ more than once.
Same with the cheap, rotting New York Slimes, but one difference ............. they have been leaking much longer.

Russert is a political hack, working for a political "news" corporation, running a 24/7 365 day political campaign.
As with the rest of the media-NY and DC pompous snobs, they have run this country for 30 years.
Why any self-respecting rightwing pol would agree to be lectured by liberal claptrap on Russert's so-call "news" show, is beyond me.
It's unbecoming and embarrassing.

Katie may hold off accepting CBS's offer, pending Tim taking a lengthy vacation in Levenworth.

"Plame's CIA identity was revealed by conservative columnist Robert Novak in July 2003..."
This crap drives me nuts. There has to be some way to stop this identification of conservative columnists every time one is written about, but never a liberal.

Well, well, well. Now the fit hits the shan.
Libby claimed Russert told him about Plame, but that's a memory lapse. It looks like it was Woodward.

Russert is a wily one.
Some releases say he didn't mention Valerie to Libby. Other of his releases give the wiggle room that he indeed do so, but not by the name "Plame."
