I suppose I just meant that I don't think anyone takes her seriously. Perhaps I find her, like Jimmy Carter, to be even more pathetic and bitter now that their dear socialist revolution is being unwound (by us) one string at a time.

You'll be locked down for a few days - easy.

We've already been told.

Dang it.

I'm not condoning censorship. Just wish they would wait for the facts before voicing their opinions. That's all. This mission is still going on.

General McInerny(sp)is telling Fox News that there were probably "high value target" that the mission was going after. He said they are in the sorting out phase now (figuring out who is high value and who is a foot soldier) and all will be known soon.

The General also commented that since the mosque bombing a few weeks ago all variations of Iraqi citizens are pissed off at al qaeda and have been giving valuable info to the good guys.

I want to know Durbin's whereabouts for the last several hours

LOL- Bingo!

In the meantime..I'm confused by the apparent lack of firefights..from listening to the 101ST CO- it sounded like a fairly easy op..but listening to Gen McInnerney..there may be more to it.

Whatever the case- confused is how civilians SHOULD be! As much as I WANT to know..I'd rather have deliberate dis-intel given out at this point. Let the David Gregory's and the terrorists all wonder....

It was sunny and warm most of the day but got cloudy in the late afternoon - right about when we heard about this. Can't see any stars out tonight. Of course, I'm right in the middle of the city, so we don't see much in the way of stars anyway.

I'd say partly cloudy right now. The moon's on the other side of the building, so I won't be able to tell if it's visible until I get upstairs in a bit. Samarra's only about 35 to 40 miles away, so they'll have the same conditions we do.

I don't want to "hijack" the thread, but I would just say I disagree concerning the demise of the Socialist agenda..
We may be valiantly defending the line, but we are still losing ground in several areas..
Public awareness has increased of late however, and we may start making some concrete gains in the future, if we can combat that national "apathy" that so many seem to have about such things..
