Michigan has one of the worst economies in America and continues to elect socialists to the Senate. Still holding out hope that the Canadian is thrown out of Lansing, however.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard is showing surprising strength, but I don't like the swarmy way he was recruited into the race at the last minute after announcing he wouldn't run.

Very true, though Stebenow polls under 50% against Michael Bouchard. Maybe there's a glimmer of hope in that race, as well.

"She is Dangerously Incompetent."

Hopefully, she'll display that on the campaign trail.

It would have done the Republicans good to get behind one candidate...instead these 3 continue obscure campaigns beneath the radar.

You should change the title to "Stabenow still holds considerable LOAD".

Wasn't she the putz who exploited all of the anti-immigration ads run against Spencer Abraham?

This is another reason why the GOP needs to nominate someone with a firm grasp of immigration issues in 2008.

If they don't, the Democrats will be able to carry on in their usual manner, i.e. amnesty+, while independents and Republicans who are furious over Bush's capitulation to Mexico will stay home, or vote for a third party candidate.

Michigan has a lot of stupid voters. For instance, Detroit re-elected Kwame.

Sorry. I just can't get past the words "Debbie" and "senator" being in the same sentence.

Dead voters elected Kwame, the living ones voted for Freman Hendrix.

Problem is that she has A TON of cash....

The Primary Survivor will have to do a LOT of fundraising, and FAST, to have any chance, and combat the Detroit Fraud Machine.
