Please welcome someone new into the Canteen. Her screen name is sarah stone, and she is from Florida. She is a single mom and is proud but worried. Her son George recently graduated Air Force basic training and will soon be deployed or has already been deployed to Iraq.

This is a place I hope she will call her new home, and I've told her that she will be among good friends and supporters.

Good evening Sarah!

Welcome to the Canteen. I am a Military Mom, too. You will love it here!

Welcome to the Canteen, Sarah!!! We are so glad to have you aboard!! And thank you for raising such a fine hero!! (He does look nice in that uniform! LOL!) I found the Canteen when my brother was deployed to Iraq. This place was a lifeline for me. There's someone here (mostly) 24/7 to help honor, entertain and support the troops and their families. We may get silly here at times, but our focus is on our heroes! Please come in and don't be shy!!

Welcome to the Canteen, Sarah, where we honor our troops, our veterans, their families, and our allies every day. We are here 24(mostly)/7/365 to provide a place for our military to stop in, pull up a chair, and enjoy a joke, hear a song (requests taken), read some history, enjoy a cyber meal (no calories), hear about our families lives, join in the silliness, and just relax. And thank you, George, for your service to America.
