Although I never served (at the insistence of my family) I am a big supporter of the silent service. Some years ago I wanted a vanity plate for my car and sent several sub related ones in to see what I could get. I ended up with CRZYIVN, an abbreviation of CrazyIvan and the maximum # of letters available in my state. This has a double meaning as my name is John. Within a month I was pulled over for speeding in another state, against all odds by a state trooper who was retired Navy and had stayed at the B.O.Q. named for my uncle. After reading my name on my license and putting two and two together he let me go with a warning. As he handed me my license back he smiled and said "you do know what your plate means, don't you?". I said "yes" and wondered just what he was getting at. Later I read the ticket and it was made out for "following too closely". You bubbleheads understand.
