Horse racing is my passion. One often hears a horse ran "wire to wire". The proper term is "gate to wire".

I'm a new handicapper. I have a question for you. What can you tell from a "breezing" workout as opposed to a handily workout? Since the horse isn't being pressed during a breezing workout should I put much stock in time of the workout? At the track I frequent (Turfway) all the workouts are breezing.

I enjoy the races but it seems the harder I work and the more I think I know the more frustrating my results are.
