What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

Okay, I'll pop in and tell the origin of my Freeper name. When hubby and I got home from our honeymoon, we watched the series "Liberty!" on PBS. We just loved it! It was so moving, and the actors really brought the Revolutionary War to life.
I had great admiration for Abigail Adams after hearing the things that she wrote to her husband in the many letters they exchanged. She was intelligent, stood up for women's rights, and was a true patriot. You can read more about her in my profile.
God bless our troops real good!

Because I'm crippled and I like making liberals squirm by calling myself crippled.

My MOS. 91B=Army medic. I am an NG soldier and I teach at a community college full-time, so 91B is like my alter-ego. I like being a medic, but I prefer to do it part-time and go on periodic deployments rather than do all the D&P shows that the regulars do.

Mylife means just that.
It comes from my strong belief that the government is not responsible for mylife.
Good bad or indifferent, its mine.
