FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006
Ms.Behavin

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

I see a lot of new faces in the Canteen. I hope to get to most of you, if not all, at some point in the day to give you an official welcome. Until then, consider this post as my way of welcoming you here.
If you are, or ever have been, mililtary, know that I thank you with all my heart for your sacrifices and service.

Origin of my screen name is a nickname an ex boyfriend had for me.
It is kind of cute so I have used it many times was have needed a name for computer related tasks whether at home or work.
Though an ex still a dear friend who visited for a meal last night.

In the movie Patriot, Mel Gibson charged with the American Flag, yelling FREEDOM. Being a female, I changed it to Freee-dame. I pronounce it in my thoughts just like in the movie.

I remember seeing a very profound tagline here on FR:
"Taxation with representation hasn't worked out so well, either."

Well, I'm going to wathc OU play in the NCAA Tournament today at 11;25 AM. OSU got eliminated in the first round of the NIT last night so hopefully OU will have better luck.
My screename is my initials. I don't give my real name out for obvious reasons.
When I mention about clicking on a screename, Whe someone posts a message to a thread, that person's screename appears on the bottom. When you want to read a freeper's posts all you have to do is click on that screename at the bottom of the post and then click "In Forum".
It's pretty much the same for all freepers who post to threads.
Ive been busy doing a lot of freeping the last couple of days. So much stuff to talk about.

My screennames history is an interesting one
I started out as flynhghr2001 which ment "flying higher" as reference to me wanting to be a pilot and "2001" as the year i chose that screenname (ive used that at yahoo since 2001 i chose that since i couldn't think of anything else for a screen name.
I chose armyboy as a screenname when I was deployed to Iraq in 2003-2004 since i was in the Army National Guard
I chose Armyman when I got back from deployment
Upon joining the Navy Reserve I became Cool Multiservice Soldier
When I transfeed to the Army (active duty) and because of people saying my name was too long I became CMS
