Gore: No vision, no scruples
WND ^ | March 15, 2006 | Joseph Farah

He never ceases to amaze me.

It is incredible to me that the man can be taken seriously by millions of Americans.

No one in politics is more willing to revise history – and lie – than Al Gore.

He did it again last weekend in a speech in Florida, accusing the Bush administration of deceiving Americans about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and connections between Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.

"I'm not calling it a lie," he said. "I'm not. I'm not. We got what turned out to be the false impression that Saddam Hussein had a lot to do with attacking our country on Sept. 11. We got the impression that he was about to build an atomic bomb with uranium from Africa and give it to his buddy, Osama bin Laden."

Of course, those were not the impressions the Bush administration gave to the American people at all – no matter how accurate or inaccurate such non-assertions may have been.

But, if the American people got those impressions from anywhere, Gore's administration was just as responsible as its successor.

Gore has been playing this game for a long time. And Americans need to recognize that's what it is – a despicable political game that has nothing to do with America's national security or protecting the lives of U.S. military servicemen.

Gore ranks with Carter and Clinton in the hall of shame.

Al the Bore is politicall dead. He killed himself with the rabidly anti-American speech in Saudi Arabia. No future political foe is ever going to let that slide

You took my words, just what I was thinking! What makes Bore think that anyone cares what he thinks, he's nothing but a big LOSERMAN.

Carter, he needs to be in a home where he can be watched 24/7!

Bubba, well everyone knows what his interests are! LOL

Hussein Link to 9/11 Lingers in Many Minds

By Dana Milbank and Claudia Deane
Washington Post Staff Writers
Saturday, September 6, 2003; Page A01
Nearing the second anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, seven in 10 Americans continue to believe that Iraq's Saddam Hussein had a role in the attacks, even though the Bush administration and congressional investigators say they have no evidence of this. Sixty-nine percent of Americans said they thought it at least likely that Hussein was involved in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, according to the latest Washington Post poll. That impression, which exists despite the fact that the hijackers were mostly Saudi nationals acting for al Qaeda, is broadly shared by Democrats, Republicans and independents.

Perhaps the American people remember Saddam was involved in the 1993 WTC attack. Personally, I trust the instincts of the American people.

Sad to see what Gore has become. I always thought he was the classic Democrat who had principles. Keep in mind that he conceded the 2000 election to Bush until handlers started whispering in his ear to challenge it. Indeed, the moonbats have taken over him and has even affected his physical appearance, which used to be somewhat handsome and may shows signs of hypertension and obesity.

Yes, Al Gore has gone completely insane, and it looks like edema and obesity have come to stay. I don't think he was quite as looney before 2000, either. Something happened...

Seriously though. Gore used to have this youthful appearance about him. Now he's bloated and his face is all puffy. Classic symptoms of hypertension and/or diabetes mellitus.

It's scary to think that this loser almost became our president. If Al was president on 9/11 he would have used the attack to go after conservatives,Christians and corporations.Could you imagine what this country would look like if Gore and Hillary each won two terms after Bill's two terms?

I hate to disagree with you, but the facts are not as simple as you suggest.

You wrote:

Of course, those were not the impressions the Bush administration gave to the American people at all – no matter how accurate or inaccurate such non-assertions may have been. "

ncountylee - I'm sorry, but that's just not an accurate statement. I'm afraid sloppy language was used that gave exactly that impression, as long as you equate al Qaeda with its leader Osama bin Ladin. For example:

In his administration's own indictment of Osama Bin Ladin, they detail Bin Ladin's connections with Saddam.

Its not likely Gore ever read it, though. Too busy worrying about Global Warming.
