Gore ranks with Carter and Clinton in the hall of shame.

Al the Bore is politicall dead. He killed himself with the rabidly anti-American speech in Saudi Arabia. No future political foe is ever going to let that slide

You took my words, just what I was thinking! What makes Bore think that anyone cares what he thinks, he's nothing but a big LOSERMAN.

Carter, he needs to be in a home where he can be watched 24/7!

Bubba, well everyone knows what his interests are! LOL

Hussein Link to 9/11 Lingers in Many Minds

By Dana Milbank and Claudia Deane
Washington Post Staff Writers
Saturday, September 6, 2003; Page A01
Nearing the second anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, seven in 10 Americans continue to believe that Iraq's Saddam Hussein had a role in the attacks, even though the Bush administration and congressional investigators say they have no evidence of this. Sixty-nine percent of Americans said they thought it at least likely that Hussein was involved in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, according to the latest Washington Post poll. That impression, which exists despite the fact that the hijackers were mostly Saudi nationals acting for al Qaeda, is broadly shared by Democrats, Republicans and independents.

Perhaps the American people remember Saddam was involved in the 1993 WTC attack. Personally, I trust the instincts of the American people.

I hate to disagree with you, but the facts are not as simple as you suggest.

You wrote:

"He did it again last weekend in a speech in Florida, accusing the Bush administration of deceiving Americans about ... connections between Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.
...
Of course, those were not the impressions the Bush administration gave to the American people at all – no matter how accurate or inaccurate such non-assertions may have been. "

ncountylee - I'm sorry, but that's just not an accurate statement. I'm afraid sloppy language was used that gave exactly that impression, as long as you equate al Qaeda with its leader Osama bin Ladin. For example:

In his administration's own indictment of Osama Bin Ladin, they detail Bin Ladin's connections with Saddam.

Its not likely Gore ever read it, though. Too busy worrying about Global Warming.

One thing I recently learned about Al Gore that really cracked me up, is that he was a Law School dropout.

I find it funny that the dropout is somehow more intelligent then Bush, who actually managed to graduate with his MBA.

Just in case Gore has forgotten ......

Vice President Al Gore Claimed "Saddam's Ability To Produce And Deliver Weapons Of Mass Destruction Poses A Grave Threat ... To The Security Of The World." GORE: "There should be no doubt, Saddam's ability to produce and deliver weapons of mass destruction poses a grave threat to the peace of that region and the security of the world. His defiance of the will of the international community to allow UNSCOM to do its job cannot and will not be tolerated." (Al Gore, Remarks At The Pentagon, 2/17/98)

Gore: "If You Allow Someone Like Saddam Hussein To Get Nuclear Weapons, Ballistic Missiles, Chemical Weapons, Biological Weapons, How Many People Is He Going To Kill…?" GORE: "[I]f you allow someone like Saddam Hussein to get nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles, chemical weapons, biological weapons, how many people is he going to kill with such weapons? He's already demonstrated a willingness to use these weapons; he poison gassed his own people. He used poison gas and other weapons of mass destruction against his neighbors. This man has no compunctions about killing lots and lots of people." (CNN's Larry King Live, 12/16/98)

When Discussing Saddam's Iraq, Gore Invoked The Specter Of "Ballistic Missiles, Nuclear Weapons, Chemical And Biological Weapons." "Remember, Peter, this is a man who has used poison gas on his own people and on his neighbors repeatedly. He's trying to get ballistic missiles, nuclear weapons, chemical and biological weapons. He could be a mass murderer of the first order of magnitude. We are not going to allow that to happen." (ABC News' "Special Report," 12/16/98)

Gore, In 2002: "We Know That [Saddam] Has Stored Away Secret Supplies Of Biological Weapons And Chemical Weapons Throughout His Country." (Al Gore, Remarks To The Commonwealth Club Of California, San Francisco, CA, 9/23/02)

I am surprised that the MSM is still paying attention to anything that Al Gore says. He is yesterday's news. His babbling nonsense is boring to all, even Democrats. At best his statements are slightly amusing, but tedious and repetitious (boring). He comes across as the big dummy that he is.
