The Port Deal and Race was it a factor at all(Of Course Not)
The Emirates Economist | 03/12/06 | bayourant

Did Race play a role in the Port Deal discussions? The very charge is met by the likes of Sean Hannity and others with Righteous Indigination. In fact, to mention it makes you the true problem. Mark Levin in fact called a MAjor General a dirtbag over that charge. The below cartoons may be an issue now in the UAE. They are not cartoons about that ole darn prophet however. THere will be no boycotts over these but remember still they dont help things. The cartoonist just give us what we want sometimes. From MSNBC the following cartoon. There were many others that through the glory of the net are available to all.

""Unlawful"?? Are you quoting ME?? Don't think so, bro."

You're right. You never actually say what Abazaid said was unlawful. But that was the subject of the discussion you were having with TxSleuth and Rastermaster. And when TxSleuth says the following...

"I will defer to you that what Abizaid said was not not allowed under the Military Code of Conduct"

Your reply of "You don't have to be military (I'm not) to know what the protocol is." doesn't exactly imply you disagree with his statement.

Since I don't want to assume anything else, is it safe to say you don't believe Gen Abazaid violated any rules when he said "I am very dismayed by the emotional responses that some people have put on the table here in the United States that really comes down to Arab and Muslim bashing that was totally unnecessary,"

Yeah, it was pretty awesome.

I just wish I had been around to see Bayourod get his comeuppance.

That would have been nice.

I was simply trying to aid in resolving the issue...

You're still being hassled by this a day latter?

Clearly you were trying to resolve the issue.

Presumably there's some passage from al-Bukhari where Allah casts the kufr into the depths of Hell for not observing proper ping etiquette.

LOL .......... that's funny.

something witty to add

I'll lighten things up for you guys.

Charley Weaver was asked once, "If you're going to make a parachute jump, at least how high should you be?"

He thought for a while then replied, "Three days of steady drinking should do it."

Well, I've had Custom officials call my show who say otherwise, that it most certainly is not functionary.

Sounds like callers calling to "jerk your chain".

Go look up the term functionary.

Recently the left has discovered how to manipulate the sheeple through the age-old psychological tactic of generating irrational fears about "outsiders." This is not racism. It is a tactic that assigns some imaginary threat to the "outsiders," and you can cause enough panic to make people do anything to protect themselves from the boogieman. Such tactics have stirred communities to hang "witches" and burn Protestants for heresy as seen when Queen Mary Tudor ("Bloody Mary") in her five year reign of terror burned 274 poor souls. This is an old tactic. Isn't it ironic that this same old tactic is being used by the Islamo Facists against those "outsiders" the infidels?

I am certain that Chucky Schumer had planned the entire strategy early on, perhaps in September, when the DP World began its negotiations with Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O). Schumer knew that the secrecy of the proceedings helped him have the advantage of surprise when the trap was sprung; easily luring conservatives who are so easily taken in by patriotic isolationist thinking.

Now we are learning that Schumer was planning a two-prong strategy: use conservatives to bash President Bush and push DP World out of the deal so that Eller and Co could pick up a few US leases at bargain barrel prices.

When he wrote in post #26, "what was that I am denying" I knew that bayourant had a communications problem. As the treads went further, I realized that bayourant had a problem with any dialog. Good call.

That's funny, because you seem to be under the impression that it's one of the five pillars of Islam.

It's always been forum etiquette here at FR until you and your ilk arrived to turn this into a chatroom.
