Did Race play a role in the Port Deal discussions? The very charge is met by the likes of Sean Hannity and others with Righteous Indigination. In fact, to mention it makes you the true problem. Mark Levin in fact called a MAjor General a dirtbag over that charge. The below cartoons may be an issue now in the UAE. They are not cartoons about that ole darn prophet however. THere will be no boycotts over these but remember still they dont help things. The cartoonist just give us what we want sometimes. From MSNBC the following cartoon. Can you explain why the government of Qatar allows the United States to operate CENTCOM HQ in Doha, or fly combat missions all over Southwest Asia from one of the largest military airfields in the region at Al Udied, if their government is "constructed around exporting terrorism through Islamic supremacy. Can you then explain why the government of Bahrain allows the US Navy to operate the Headquarters of its 5th Fleet from the capital city of Bahrain, if its government is "constructed around exporting terrorism through Islamic supremacy". Then can you explain why the government of Kuwait allows the United States to stage almost all its military men and equipment designated for use in Iraq, if its government is "constructed around exporting terrorism through Islamic supremacy". And finally, can you explain why the government of the UAE permits its ports to become among the most used foreign ports by the US Navy, and allows our newest surveillance aircraft to take off from its airfields to fly missions all over Southwest Asia, if its government is "constructed around exporting terrorism through Islamic supremacy". And while your at it, could you explain why all these operations continue to be carried out without a single terrorist attack against them, if all these governments are "constructed around exporting terrorism through Islamic supremacy".
Then, could you explain why those civilized, Christian nations like France and Germany deny us those same privileges, despite supposedly sharing "common values" with us. Who has been more effective in helping us fight the war against Islamic terrorism? Countries in the Middle East, or countries on the Eurpean continent?

With anything...it's all BIG PICTURE. You focus on one narrow aspect and you're always going to miss some detail that would help make sense of it all.
Unions made a stink then hushed up pretty fast...didn't catch my attention till awhile later (they were so RILED, why silent now?). First thought...if Teamsters are against it, it can't be all bad. Then the "45-day wait" that lasted about 45 minutes....why the rush?
I opposed the deal for different reasons than any I'd heard. Supporters kept saying "but they are such a great ally in WOT", "We need their bases/ports", "we'll suffer"...I knew something was array (someone just had their bankroll pulled from under them). We don't reward allies with cash and shady deals. If they pull back their support of US or WOT or any other form of "blowback", then we will know it was the right thing to stop and ask questions before endorsing such a "deal".
One thing for the politicians to understand....my life or that of my family is no bargaining chip. You don't earn points with us for doing what you should have been doing for only 4 years. Binny's head on a platter, we'll talk. Clean up your own backyard of terrorist jihadi scum, we'll talk. Make demands...maybe we won't be there to help you when Johnny Jihad comes marching homeward.

The fact is, that what I said was lied about, was factual.
I AM tired of correcting all of the lies that HAVE been repeatedly posted to FR, for going on three weeks.
It is also a fact, that threads have indeed, been posted to FR, which contain facts, which have been constantly ignored by the antis. No matter how many times the outright lies were countered, those who corrected the lies, WERE attacked and attacked viciously.
There have also been several fact filled threads and posts, which explained not only the possible fallout/consequences/ramifications of what was begun by Chuckles Schumer and then got quite out of hand, but what has already begun to happen. Of course, you choose to denigrate me, instead of bothering to look for the threads I mentioned. Pity that...........................
And FWIW, I have NO monetary interest in DPW's buyout of P&O, nor any other kind of interest whatsoever. What I am aghast at, is the perpetuation of lies.
