Sure is. You stay safe. I'm a little unnerved. Hubby is out of town on business and I'm alone with my three little boys. Yikes!

I'm in Pekin, Illinois. They are all around here but still 50 - 60 miles from me. All is calm here so far.

I doubt if this will affect Milorad Blagojevich's boyish bangs. Using so much hair spray, he's a one-man ozone threat.

Thanks ConservativeBabe. All is quiet for the moment, although it looks like they are in for a long night with more to come. I'll be watching the skies shortly... I am in the far NW suburbs of Chicago and we have a tornado watch and some warnings to the south and SW of use right now.

DUCK! I'm more of a chicken than a duck when it comes to tornados.

Hello Neighbor,
Channel 2's weather guy just said that we will (probably) get severe weather tonight, but could not predict to what level (thanks to MOguy for listening and reporting, as I am in the office, away from the TV). I am pretty sure I will not be able to sleep until this has passed, and that is probably a good idea! Stay safe out there!!
Glad to be here, MOgirl

Yeah. I just moved back to IL from CO about 2 months ago. I used to say, "I sure miss the midwest storms". Excellent example of being careful what you wish for going on now.
