I bet Hillary hates this guy! Feingold is all over the place, going hard after the far left fringe of the party. He's a nasty one too.

Democrats calling for censure of Bush says much, much more about the Democrats than any "attack ad" ever could.

for approving domestic wiretaps on American citizens

Again, a perfect example of the intellectual dishonesty of the left. Bush didnt approve wiretaps "on American citizens."

approving domestic wiretaps on American citizens without first seeking a legally required court order.

Exactly when, where and to whom was this "crime" committed, Russ old boy?

If Feingold thinks Bush should be censured for the NSA program, does he also think that his buddy McCain should be censured for supporting the program? Or at least mildly rebuked?

When it comes to the liberal left, I am reminded of an old proverb, by Thomas Paine. "You can sit very qietly and have people think you are not so smart, or you can open your mouth and remove all doubt."

On top of everthing - if it weren't for ballot box stuffing in Milwaukee, this nut case probably wouldn't be representing Wisconsin.

Dear Senator Feinwhore:

No American was being wiretapped unless he/she was talking to Al Queda, or vice versa. If anyone is talking to the enemy, it is a good thing to know about it.

You should spend more time worrying about your "current" marriage, Senator. After all, is your current wife your 3rd or 4th???

Ok, this is not gonna happen with the Republican majority.

So the question for Republicans is this:

Do they ignore it because it doesn't have the votes or do they actively fight it to keep it from influencing the midterms?

The DemocRATs are never going to get over the fact that their hero Clinton was impeached.

The Republicans need to stop trying to make nice. A good first step would be to push through a resolution to release the rest of the David Barrett special counsel report detailing efforts by the Clinton administration to use the IRS and Justice Department for political purposes.

I think Bush needs a very stern talking to, and maybe a good finger wagging. Nothing says "anger" like a prolonged finger wag.

"This conduct is right in the strike zone of the concept of high crimes and misdemeanors,"

I'd say, along with Bob Uecker in Major League, "That one was Juuuuuuuust a bit outside...", as the ball goes high off the backstop. No, Feinie, when you're slinging mud, you've got to get a little closer than that.

sarcasm on* I just LOVE my senator!* sarcasm off

He is an embarrassment to my state. We can't get him out of office the way elections are run here now.

We need federal voter registration laws so the unions and the lefties stop importing people to WI on election day!

I watched it and Feingold uses the word "reasonable" in every sentence to cover the fact he is a left wing wacko. Only Senator to vote against Patriot Act. Steph was begging Feingold to impeach Bush rather than censure (a constitutional impossibility for a senator). It was a love fest.

Then Frist came on and Steph grilled him, acting incredulous that censuring the president in the war on terror could weaken us abroad.

When you don't slam the leftists down and embarrass them for their extremism, they will steadily make things worse and worse.

Please, please, please try it democrats.

Nothing says WEAK ON SECURITY more than punishing a President for trying to protect the country from al qaeda operatives. Every left leaning, distorted poll says says the citizens are behind the President on this issue. The democrat pollsters can't even mask it by phrasing it "domestic spying"

This would be a gift to the Republican party.
