March 12, 2006 In an exclusive interview on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold called on the Senate to publicly admonish President Bush for approving domestic wiretaps on American citizens without first seeking a legally required court order.
"This conduct is right in the strike zone of the concept of high crimes and misdemeanors," said Feingold, D-Wis., a three-term senator and potential presidential contender.

I bet Hillary hates this guy! Feingold is all over the place, going hard after the far left fringe of the party. He's a nasty one too.

Democrats calling for censure of Bush says much, much more about the Democrats than any "attack ad" ever could.

Can we at least call for censure of Feingold and McCain for their campaign finance reform?
To: YaYa123
If Feingold thinks Bush should be censured for the NSA program, does he also think that his buddy McCain should be censured for supporting the program? Or at least mildly rebuked?
To: YaYa123
they have gone from Impeachment to Censure?

When it comes to the liberal left, I am reminded of an old proverb, by Thomas Paine. "You can sit very qietly and have people think you are not so smart, or you can open your mouth and remove all doubt."

On top of everthing - if it weren't for ballot box stuffing in Milwaukee, this nut case probably wouldn't be representing Wisconsin.

Dear Senator Feinwhore:
No American was being wiretapped unless he/she was talking to Al Queda, or vice versa. If anyone is talking to the enemy, it is a good thing to know about it.
You should spend more time worrying about your "current" marriage, Senator. After all, is your current wife your 3rd or 4th???

This is a classic example of the willingness of the media to support lies from the left. Gross distortion of the reality of this entire situation. And they wonder why their ratings are in the tank, and still sinking...the Loons of the Left.

Ok, this is not gonna happen with the Republican majority.
So the question for Republicans is this:
Do they ignore it because it doesn't have the votes or do they actively fight it to keep it from influencing the midterms?

The DemocRATs are never going to get over the fact that their hero Clinton was impeached.
The Republicans need to stop trying to make nice. A good first step would be to push through a resolution to release the rest of the David Barrett special counsel report detailing efforts by the Clinton administration to use the IRS and Justice Department for political purposes.

The media love scandal stories, but citizens put them
in perspective. The citizenry tends to reserve judgment on charges and accusations about which they don't yet know all or even most of the facts. Sensible people don't leap to generalize from a few cases about a whole administration or an entire political party. And they tend to care more about substantive policies and real-world results than they do about alleged sleaze or even corruption. As John J. DiIulio Jr. put it (in a somewhat different context) in his contribution to our tenth anniversary symposium, "policy matters most."

I think Bush needs a very stern talking to, and maybe a good finger wagging. Nothing says "anger" like a prolonged finger wag.

"This conduct is right in the strike zone of the concept of high crimes and misdemeanors,"I'd say, along with Bob Uecker in Major League, "That one was Juuuuuuuust a bit outside...", as the ball goes high off the backstop. No, Feinie, when you're slinging mud, you've got to get a little closer than that.

He is an embarrassment to my state. We can't get him out of office the way elections are run here now.
We need federal voter registration laws so the unions and the lefties stop importing people to WI on election day!
