If you were a girl, you would understand.

Where is he from anyway? So what? Is it a sin to get one tiny thing wrong?

What a shame...just as well, then, that he has no political aspirations...I would hate to be in a position to have to vote against him.

...they chose Chuckkie/Unions over The President and common sense.

Boil it down and that's what you get... what a big, fat pay-day for the DNC. If the Republicans wanted to secure the ports and what comes in unchecked... they should have addressed it DIRECTLY. Not this clumsy, Buchanan-like reaction.

Oh, and re our troops, we will be seeing some OIF and OEF veterans running for office and taking leadership positions in the near future! That should give us hope!

Exactly, well said samantah.

It would be rather naieve to belive that all 1.2
billion muslims are our enemies and those that
think that approval of the UAWE deal makes one
weak on nat. security could not be futher from
the truth.

My big objection to not giving the deal to the
uae was based on nat. security.

GWB was getting ready last week to give more
secret intel to congress(a bad move the way they
leak) to futher prove his case that UAE are
huge allies. Don't know if he did or not but
would not matter now.

Losing intel on the WOT from allies compromises
our troops abroad who are always at risk but
better off with good intel. We can only hope
UAE will rise above our insults and continue
to provide us with whatever intel they have
given in the past.

And here's what Rusty said on Steffy's show (there should have been a barf alert, but I suppose one is included indirectly, just by the title):

Feingold: Bush's Crimes Worse Than Clinton's
NewsMax.com ^ | March 12, 2006 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 03/12/2006 11:01:15 AM PST by Carl/NewsMax

Sen. Russ Feingold said Sunday that Congress needs to censure President Bush as a possible first step towards impeachment for authorizing the wiretapping of terrorists based in America, adding that Bush's alleged lawbreaking was "much more serious, clearly, than anything Bill Clinton ever did."

"This conduct is right in the strike zone of the concept of high crimes and misdemeanors," Feingold told ABC's "This Week." "What the president did, by consciously and intentionally violating the Constitution and the laws of this country with this illegal wiretapping, has to be answered."

Feingold announced that he will introduce on Monday a resolution of censure in the Senate "to condemn his unlawful authorization of wiretaps of Americans."

Asked about the prospect of impeaching Bush, the Wisconsin Democrat said: "That's an option that we could look at if somebody thought that was a really good idea."

"We have to consider, is it best for the country to start to start impeachment proceedings? Is it best for the country to consider removing the president from office?"

"We're not mandated to impeach a president who has broken the law."

Sen. Feingold added, however, "I think we are required to do our job, to live up to our oath of office, and say, wait a minute - there has to be, at least as a first step, some accountability."

"We, as a Congress, have to stand up to a president who acts as if the Bill of Rights and the Constitution was repealed on Sept. 11. We didn't enact martial law on Sept. 11."

Feingold said his censure resolution would give Senate Democrats the opportunity to rebuke Bush without resorting to impeachment. "We have to be the party that stands up for the rule of law," he urged.

Feingold insisted that Bush's lawbreaking far exceeded anything perpetrated by his predecssor, arguing: "This conduct here is so much more serious, clearly, than anything Bill Clinton ever did that it can't even be compared. This is an open and shut case for the censure of the president.

"Bill Clinton got into a bad situation and he didn't handle it very well," he explained. "But this a conscious and repeated attempt where the president continues to say that what he did was proper. And [he] has repeatedly misled the American people."

The perfect storm against the truth.

Bigotry, union thugs with their own agenda, King pandering to his campaign donors, Menendez ditto.

Schmuckie only wanting more money for the union thugs at the NY/NJ ports.

Craven republicans believing the sky is falling polls.......

King thinks he's the new hero.

Well, Mr. King you backed Gerry Adams raising money here in the US, you backed slick willie when it suited you, and perhaps you will be treated to the same fate as Mary Mapes. The truth eventually will out and you will be exposed for your false outrage.

Google also indicates a rather lucrative deal with the Miami ports as well, but I am having a devil of a time getting the details.

Utter nonsense. First there is no guarantee we could get basing rights in India. Amazing how he same people who squealed about "outsourcing" now want to pretend they never were as feverishly bashing India and they now bash Dubai. Also, this is more "ugly Americanism". They just assume that India would willingly accept the American ships just because we asked. Actually, it is highly doubtful, based on India's internal politics, that they would allow anyone basing rights.

There is also the little problem that the Ports in India suitable are considerable farther from the the Operations area thus adding wear and tear to the ships as well as extra travel time. Be stupid to add to the time our ships would be off station.

Finally it is just a lie to claim the Port Deal "has National Security Implications. That lie was nuked after the 1st three days. People who STILL claims this simply refused to listen to ANY of the facts presented by the Port Deal Supporters. That security claim is just the nonsense thrown up by the Neo-Isolationists to justify their knee jerk reaction. After jumping to erroneous conclusions, the Port Deal Critics simply shouted down anyone who TOLD THEM THE FACTS rather then admit their initial reaction was erroneous. It was bigotry, hysteria and arrogant ignorance that killed the Port Deal, NOTHING else. There is not one single valid reason to oppose the deal.

That's right. Just cling to ignorance. Wouldn't want the Whine All The Time Choir to actually find something NEW to post. I mean the same old whines and bitches have been fine for them for the last 100,000 posts. NO reason for them to ever considering learning something.
