That excellent man is a dem, or so I have been told. I know, hard to believe. Maybe this episode has changed that.
Not really. The technology is straightforward, and putting "samples" of known stuff through is used to develop the observation criteria.
Surveillance circumvention is an art of its own right.
"BTW...what do you think of the idea of a candidate in 08 looking up Mr. John O'Neill and seeing what HIS plans are??"
John O'Neill is like Zell Miller, registered Democrats
I doubt after the lack of acknowledgement
for what O'Neill did
THE single most reason why we are not saying president hanoi kerry),
by the GOP in general,
that O'Neill would even consider an offer.
Like I said before the 2006 and 2008 elections will
be very interesting without
REAL Democrat and Independent Conservatives
supporting either party.
...because you were waiting for a car chase in California!
#####
Do I enjoy being hypotized by the slow speed chases, or do I anticipate the brutal take-down by neanderthal police when it is over? Questions? Questions?
Just kidding also!
Well, I guess I misunderstood the phrase, "knee jerk port deal." I do enjoy tawny port myself in the evenings and if I have any jerking going on, it calms it. Hehe.
I said the similar thing on another thread. No one has been a greater cheerleader than Hannity for the Republican cause and that is basically because the Republicans are and have been far better for America than the Democrats.
And I think that is where people have to look: at the love of America. That is absolutely supreme for Hannity, who is like the straight-arrow American guy next door of our dreams. He's a down to earth Joisey guy who is red white and blue through and through. And that is why he's a Republican. Country first!
Of course, being a devastatingly handsome Irish guy makes him conceited and elicits the jealousy of other males. Let's face it. :)
Thanks! I needed that! LOL.
After playing BOUCER half this week.. I can't tell you how TREMENDOUS this thread has been for me today!
I HAVE VERY, VERY MUCH ENJOYED IT!
(((((((((((((((((FREEPERS)))))))))))))))))))))
(group hug)
:-)
(amazing what a little whiskey can do for one's mood, eh?
Surely you don't believe that crapola, do you?
WHEW! That's good to know!
LOL!
The whole port issue has so many players and ins and outs, it is complicated and one almost needs a scorecard to keep track.
This story just throws some more players in the heap on port security. And, also mentions that congress is concerned about allowing DPW, a UAE company, to operate some container terminals in the US, even though they were one of the 1st to support the container security initiative (container inspections in their ports). However, Congress hasn't seem to say a word about the fact that
Port Security International (PSI) ("an international partners network composed of an array of financial, strategic, technological and in-country port industry related companies") has an alliance with the China-based Nuctech, a company that "possesses the largest manufacture base of Linear Accelerator X-ray inspection machines to inspect containers at ports in the world."
and
its CEO is Hu Haifeng, the son of current China President Hu Jintao.
and
"PSI has a strategic alliance with Stonebridge International LLC, a global business strategy firm based in Washington, DC that helps U.S. and multinational companies shape and execute strategies to solve problems and seize business opportunities worldwide."
And
Disgraced Sandy "The Burgler" Berger heads up Stonebridge International.
Your Welcome!
LOL!
:-)
What is the first word in the post you are referring to?
The information --- and it is disturbing --- is in looking at the provisions of CFIUS versus what actually happened in giving the deal a security clearance. That's my opinion.
I saw Brit today and heard what he said. I usually agree with him, but not always.
Wasn't it funny though when they replayed Juan's comment from last week: "I'm tired of all this Bush-bashing!"
People should stop just blindly accepting the nonsense some of the Talk Show Hosts dish out and actually LISTEN to people here who have real world experience. Try telling this spin line about "nothing happening" to Prince of Cups who is a Westerner working in UAE. See how well it goes over with them.
Laphroaig is excellent, as is the Speyburn and several others. I think at this level it's not "better" so much as "personal preference." I just settled on the Macallan as my personal favorite, probably because it was my introduction to "the good stuff."
I hardly claim to be an expert. I just enjoy the things that I've been privelaged to learn.
Of course, I'm always open to new experiences <g>
OH BOY!
THAT is scary....
Oh my GOSH!
need more swhiskey.....
LOL!!!
You right, that IS funny.
WHAT!?
they REPLAYED Juan's infamous moment?
OH MAN!
I can't wait for 6 o'clock....
