"Did anyone see Pence this morning? how did he do?"

From what I've heard, Mr Pence did very well today.

I don't remember the summer of '68... I was born about 9 days before summer started that year! LOL!

But- the climate of this LYNCH MOB called the DEM PARTY IS FRIGHTFUL!

their ANTI-AMERICAN, PRO-TERROR, ANTI ISRAEL, PRO COMMUNIST AGENDA along with the LYNCH MOB DESCENT ONTO THE WHITE HOUSE is BEYOND TROUBLING!

I FEAR FOR THE LIFE OF BUSH and MY CHILDREN in the future...

What do you mean "the President tried to move forward while the review was in process"?

From the time the "hold" was on...President Bush was in India and Pakistan and Afghanistan...doing the diplomacy thing ..and doing a heck of a job..especially with India, who will be a very strategic ally in the East.

Also...I doubt that the "review" had even started yet...the Republicans in the HOUSE, saw to that process not going forward.

Whilst I agree with many freepers especially over the knee jerk port deal Sean Hannity did work hard during the last election campaign as you said.

Also IMHO his support will again help with the mid term elections.

Excellent thoughts MM, and many of them mirror my thoughts on those possible candidates. I am glad you are with us today after the loss of Your Mom, you are a trooper and I am sure she is proud of you even today for your profound thinking and activism for your Grandchildren and everyone else's too. I still miss my Mom terribly after almost 12 years. You know exactly where to go for support and friendship, Freeperland.

If it is a McCain/Kerry race, there will be a third party candidate.

Congresscowards may want to see how well runing away from BJ Clinton worked in 1994. Doesn't do to alienate your base.

That is the worry and why IMHO the Republicans must stop McCain in the primaries because what with the Swifties and then the media turn on him he will not be electable.

This is one time when Republicans must eat their own.

I'm not sure I understand this story..

(I know... my ditzy is showing..)

Is this saying that PSI is the "most valuable player" in Port Security?

And if I have THAT part right... what does the China and Dubai angle have to do with this?

That we trust China here (thanks to BJC) but we wouldn't trust the same peeps with the Dubai deal?

Do I sound lost?

I feel lost....

Yes...but he also...is talking about yet another "panel" to oversee this and work with the DOD...blech.

I have found out lately, that the answer for everything with Congressweinies is MORE investigations, MORE hearings, MORE blame Bush, MORE money, MORE bureaucracy, MORE committees!!

IOW...MORE MORE MORE....never less, less, less.

"She said...... "Thommy, you stepped on my foot."" OH MY GOD! That is funny!

Really......... my mother (bless her soul) had much in common with Condi Rice it turns out. She was an accomplished figure skater and an even better pianist.

In the 50's, when I was a little boy, she used to practice on the piano into the night after all the daytime chores of raising our family. Her most favorite composer was Chopin........... no marvel, Chopin today is my very most favorite.

****

I recommend this piece more than a little if you appreciate peace and beauty touching you.

http://www.geocities.com/darnbi/pieces.htm

Opus 27 No. 2 in D flat major 4.54

Mother played this every night, and it brought me to soft tears......... as now.

I was fortunate enough to stick with that "vote" about the immediate pull out of troops in the House...

And saw Rep. Sam Johnson's speech...and was awestruck by what he said...it is just a shame that he is so old...otherwise, he would make a great POTUS.

BTW...what do you think of the idea of a candidate in 08 looking up Mr. John O'Neill and seeing what HIS plans are??

I know that he lost his wife recently, which is so sad---maybe, he might be open to a VP role?? You know..someone like George Allen could us a military guy --- I just don't know his stance on conservative issues, social issues.

...the knee jerk port deal ...

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, since no one has all the facts. I did a lot of reading and research on the issue and became an even stronger opponent in the process. And, frankly, the name-calling and labelling that comes from the deal supporters doesn't help their position or win hearts and minds.

Our relationship with another country should not and does not hinge on one business deal. UAE enjoys many benefits from the U.S. and this is not going to change the relationship substantially.
