Don't you love how scum like Finegold state their opinion as fact? Senator, the President has legal authority under his powers as Commander in Chief to do gather battle field intelligence. YOU, Senator, deserve to be censured for your gross dereliction in duty in failing to uphold your oath of office in regards to respecting Constitutional Authority

Yes, but Jack never tired of the roar of approval of the crowd. He is always trying to get people to say nice things about himself.

Scan the headlines of 2005 and one question seems inevitable: Will we recall this as the year when journalism in print began to die?
The ominous announcements gathered steam as the year went on. The New York Times would cut nearly 60 people from its newsroom, the Los Angeles Times 85; Knight Ridders San Jose Mercury News cut 16%, the Philadelphia Inquirer 15% and that after cutting another 15% only five years earlier. By November, investors frustrated by poor financial performance forced one of the most cost-conscious newspaper chains of all, Knight Ridder, to be put up for sale.
Adding to the worry, industry fundamentals, not the general economy, were the problem declining circulation, pressure on revenues, stock prices for the year down 20%.
It wasnt only newspapers, either. Magazines like Newsweek , U.S. News and Business Week were suffering, too. The largest company, Time Inc., advertising and circulation falling, cut 205 people and promised to transform itself from magazine publishing to a multiplatform media company.
The former dean at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Tom Goldstein would conclude, Unless they urgently respond to the changing environment, newspapers risk early extinction."1

There was a report today on, I think it was Real Clear Politics, why this will probably be a real good year for incumbents. Looking at the Primary results seem to bear that out. We should probably keep it to ourselves since it's so much funnier watching the in the closet Democrats try to explain why their Chicken Little pronouncements are so wrong. Of course, I also think RCP totally underestimates the Republican Congress's epic ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I think it will be Feingold in 2008 demonstrating how politically tone deaf the Dems are. If the Republicans actually put up a Conservative Candidate it could be as good as 1972 or 1980 or 1984 for us. Feingold is McGovern without the Resume, Carter with out the Populism and Mondale without the charisma all rolled into one.

I can't say what I think about this needy, sick opportunist, Finegold. He is just another reason why I hate most politics and politics.

There has been massive support for House Resolution 635 from a very vigorous network of grassroots activists and people committed to holding the Bush Administration accountable for its widespread abuses of power, US Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) said in a statement prepared for Atlanta Progressive News. They cannot get over the fact they loose at the ballot box. Bring it on, not a one of them can state a "high crimes and misdemeanor" as a reason for impeachment. The downside is that it will put everything on hold while they do their "shuffle" - GOD WHAT SORE LOOSERS THE DIMS HAVE BECOME, "Massive support of grass roots" by a$$. All 5 Err Amerika listeners, that is who this represents. Err Amerika has been propagandizing the take down of President Bush ever since he won re-election and they will not stop until either they are stopped or Pres is impeached.
